The inception of Luxus Developments traces back to its founder, Francois Diedrechsen, the co-lead sponsor, co-developer, and the CEO of the ground-breaking Beitbridge Border Post modernisation project in Zimbabwe.
Luxus Developments offers comprehensive services for the establishment, enhancement, and maintenance of government border posts, providing a seamless solution from inception to operation.
Specializing not only in construction but also in the operational and maintenance aspects of selected projects, Luxus Developments collaborates closely with strategic partners to oversee every phase of the project life cycle.
This encompasses design, construction, financing, and ongoing maintenance initiatives.
Our Team
Francois negotiated and executed all aspects of the award-winning Beitbridge modernisation project, including the concession, financing, infrastructure, systems development, operations, and maintenance. He has over 25 years of experience in infrastructure and construction, prior to Luxus, having worked for a publicly listed entity and specialising in PPP projects. Francois served as one of two Executive Directors of Raubex Group for ten years in the positions of Commercial Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.
Francois was jointly responsible for the group’s growth from a provincial road builder to the most significant road and bridges infrastructure group in SADC, where Raubex now employs more than 7000 people. Francois was also responsible for the public listing of Raubex in 2007.
Francois has exceptional experience and a proven track record regarding the requirements, needs and shortfalls of building infrastructure in Africa.
